NOTE. This is a collection of 6 postcards and the price on each postcard page is for the full set.
This is a collection of what have been much sought-after postcards which commanded very high prices in dealers' catalogues. There are six in number and each depicts an incident (or incidents) of terror tactics used by the enemy ('Les pirates torpillent en mer jusqu'aux voyageurs inoffensifs des nations neutres' is one caption, while another reads 'Les traîtres fusillent l'adversaire désarmé à la vue du drapeau blanc'.) But put together - jigsaw like- another large picture with the Kaiser to the fore is formed. It is a very clever composition and collectors will be delighted to have these reproductions in their collections. There are few details of the production of the cards - nothing about the artist - but they originated in Paris and the captions, as has been noted, are in French.
